The Blog Readability Test — See what level of education is required to understand your blog. Apparently my blog’s reading level is college (postgrad). Maybe I should strive work harder to lower the reading level dumb down the ole website. I’ve no clue as to why it would be that high.
I don’t know if that’s a good thing or not… or if my sites’ elementary readability is good or bad. Disturbing…………..
hmmmm Junior High… I’m from England so I’m not too sure of the age range. Any help from my American chums?
Hey you know what, you are at least designing by the grid and using somewhat fibonacci style. I commend you, you might like to have a home for contributing content over at hellyeahdude.com, there is a space open for you if you wish!
I’ve played with those readability tests before. As I was “dumbing down” a grade 17 document, I realized that the only way to get a high readability score was to rewrite along the lines of “This is Spot. See Spot run. Run, Spot, run.” I wasn’t willing to go that far.
Hahahaha, that’s awesome. I just scored a junior high level. Really digging your Web site man, love the grid layout and font choices.
Mine Junior High. I at least want to keep it like that or make it higher (high school maybe.
Oh wow…my personal blog had a high school level rating, and my fan site is jr. high school. How do they configure all this? This is a blow to my self confidence.
My webmasterkit Blog scored ‘elementery school’ while my blog about video games scored ‘junior high’ Doesn’t seem right to me
