iPhone Impressions

I caved and picked up an iPhone Friday evening. After playing with the phone a full day here are my first impressions.

  1. The keyboard is not near as bad as I originally thought it would be, but it still takes some getting used to. I would love to be able to turn the phone to landscape view for a larger/wider virtual keyboard.
  2. Setup was a breeze
  3. People love playing with the touchscreen.
  4. Despite recent updates EDGE is painfully slow.
  5. Even with the larger capacity model there is still not a whole lot of room for music and videos.
  6. Battery life/drain has been better than expected, and I’ve been watching videos and listening to lots of music.
