The Photography Bug

Camera shopping
For some strange reason ever since a recent trip to Tennessee I’ve been wanting to take photos of everything…not so much artistic photos, just snapshots to record all the small things from my surroundings. I took a couple of different photography classes while in college, but haven’t done much photography since that time. I’m really looking forward to focusing(awful pun not intended) more time on polishing up what little photography skills I once had.
To further feed my recent photography craving I also just picked up the new Nikon D40X, and I absolutely love it.
I hear you on the bug. I don’t always have my D50 (purchased in February) with me, but when I do, I shoot EVERYTHING. Having the ability to fire off 500+ photos without thinking is good and bad. It helps me be more creative with shots without worrying about wasting film, but then it also makes more work for me later on as I try to find the 10 good shots out of those 500…
Good luck!
Oh, no fair! I want it too!
I also have a D40 and it’s been nothing but a joy to use. Beautiful daughter you’ve got there.
