Sumo Omni Chair
Not too long ago I received an email asking if I would be interested in reviewing the Sumo Omni beanbag. I at first was somewhat sceptical, because like most people when I think of beanbag chairs I think of large uncomfortable masses covered in duct tape usually seen in dorm rooms or your cheesy Uncle Frank’s 70’s themed bachelor pad. After a little while of reviewing the website, and seeing that these chairs have turned up at places such as: X-Games, Sundance, and Playboy I decided to give the chair a shot.
On September 1st, which just so happens to be my birthday, I received a rather large package via Fedex. After wrestling with the box out came my new Sumo Omni bag. Once the bag was removed from all its packaging I decided jump right in and do some immediate product testing i.e. doing my best Jimmy “Superfly” Snuka dive onto the bag. I was immediately impressed by how large and durable the bag was. At 4.5′ x 5.5′ it dwarfs conventional beanbags and can easily be manipulated into a full size chair, complete with headrest. It is also washable and rip-proof. I spent the majority of my time using the bag as an enormous floor pillow, watching football and old reruns of Quantum Leap while I wasted away entire Sundays.
The chair has definitely turned out to be a wonderful birthday gift. If you happen to find yourself in the market for a comfortable bean bag chair, be sure to check out their website. At $149 the Sumo Omni is affordable and well worth it. It’s really is great for watching sports, movies, and just hanging out, but be careful because everyone’s going to want to sit in it.
We are holding a currently holding a contest and giving one away on my site.
First off, happy birthday.
I looked at the bean bag and it made me want to get one too!
Looks very comfortable! Oh, nice new look on the blog too!
