14 Free Vertical CSS Menus

After receiving several email requests from visitors asking for vertical menus I decided to create 14 free vertical menu designs. You may download the entire set and use any way you see fit. Like the last two sets of menus these can be used for commercial or private use. Have fun with all the menus.

  8. Um help…your tabs are sized wierd in IE. . The 24 px height squishes the button size. It looks as if its being overlapped, but in Firefox it works. I thought increasing the height to 32 pixes would work, and it does fixing it in IE but then its too big in Firefox, revealing the lower half..any ideas on how to fix this issue?

  9. Nickbot: Exactly which version of IE are you using to test the tabs? It displays fine for me IE 6.0 Win.

  10. I must have done something wrong with my file when moving it to an external css file, because I just took a look at the original and my file, and mine shows the issue when the original does not. Sorry about that.

  15. You might want to make a bulletproof menus – they are currently broken after text resizing and multi-line link text would break them, too. Otherwise, nice designs.

  16. Nice work! The formatting gets screwy though, if you use a “javascript:” href or a href with an embedded form post (e.g. “page.jsp?param=val”) under IE. Works fine under Firefox. Any suggestions on how to fix this? Your horizontal menus don’t have this issue… cheers!

  19. Works great in Firefox/Mozilla on my laptop and on an Imac running IE5, but doesn’t work in Opera8? What’s up with that?

  24. Thx for this offer! In my Solution i have replaced the padding with line-height because the IE alwayes display the padding wrong. As fas as i can see, the second height-hack insnt used anymore. May be this can help.
