I’ve been thinking about why so many people have blogs these days. There is a blog or seven for just about every subject imaginable. Everyone from grandmothers to preteens have started their own blogs. People have blogs to share their most intimate thoughts, companies use blogs to promote their products. So why do they do it? What is there to say that hasn’t been said by dozens of others, over and over?

I started blogging about 5 years ago with a blog that is very typical nowadays. It was filled with my ideas, observations, and rants about love and life. It eventually turned into a place for me to bitch and whine about my life. It was a good way for an introvert like myself to open up and share my feelings, without fearing any backlash.
