Early this morning I received an email from someone with some info about the website that had been hotlinking some images, and sporting a very similiar layout to my site. He explained that the site in question was an “affiliate” of their site, and that they had no idea it was going on. He informed me that the site was created by the affiliate to drive traffic to the main site, and that their company rewards their affiliates with incentives for traffic. He apologized and assured me the site would be taken down and the person removed from their affiliate program.
